The "Wet Crack" Rule

Crucial drying time: If your windshield got wet from rain, car washes, or humidity, moisture gets trapped inside the microscopic glass fractures.

In May–September, park your car in direct sunlight for 3 hours to fully dry before your appointment. The rest of the year may require several days.
